About the Journal

Advancements in Agricultural Development (ISSN 2690-5078) is an open-access journal publishing social science research in the context of food, agriculture, and natural resources. Advancements was chosen to emphasize improvements in practical outcomes. Agricultural Development was chosen as an inclusive term to include the breadth of education, extension, human capacity building, diffusion of innovations, leadership, and communication in the context of food, agriculture, and natural resources. Omitting the word “Journal” was done to intentionally differentiate AAD from related journals. Advancements in Agricultural Development is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCO, Google Scholar, and AGRICOLA. Advancements in Agricultural Development is listed in Cabells, ROAD, and Ulrichs

Advancements in Agricultural Development is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Advancements in Agricultural Development has been awarded the DOAJ Seal for meeting the most rigorous requirements for an open-access journal. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
